Apple will unveil on Wednesday the new iPhone 5. Rumored features of the new iPhone 5 include a larger screen, A6 CPU, iOS 6, small dock connector and 4G LTE. The overall design would not change dramatically. The backside material is not glass anymore as Apple introduces a metal unibody design. The rumors also say that the iPhone 5 is very thin with 7.6mm.
We know all this, but what features or concepts will be the focus of Apple's iPhone 5 marketing? Apple made Siri the "controversial" killer feature the iPhone 4S. One option could be that Apple positions the iPhone 5 as the thinnest LTE 4G smartphone with the longest battery life. Apple might also put the 3D maps into the spotlight. The taller screen of the iPhone 5 is new, but many other smartphones have larger screens.
The way Apple will market the iPhone 5 is really the big unknown and makes the Apple event on September 12 so interesting.
The new iPhone 5 will be announced this Wednesday September 12 at 10am PDT. The iPhone 5 sales are then to begin September 21.
