Earpod are the New iPhone 5 Headphones

Last week a new Apple earbud design leaked in Vietnam. The new sphere shaped earbuds have two speakers, which results in better sound. 9to5Mac reports that a source revealed to them that these new iPhone 5 headphones will be called Earpod. If the Apple Earpod headphones come standard with the iPhone 5 or are an optional iPhone 5 headphone is not clear yet.

The price for the Earpod headphones is supposed to be $29.

The new iPhone 5 will be unveiled today at 10am PDT in the Yerba Buena Center in San Francisco. The iPhone 5 Event will be opened by Tim Cook. The iPhone 5 Pre-order is rumored to start Friday, September 14. The iPhone 5 sales are supposed to begin September 21. Rumored features of the new iPhone 5 include a larger screen, A6 CPU, iOS 6, small dock connector and 4G LTE. The overall design would not change dramatically. The backside material is not glass anymore as Apple introduces a unibody design. The rumors also say that the iPhone 5 is very thin.
