CruxSKUNK Hits Kickstarter Goal and Will Go into Production
A device called the CruxSKUNK is on Kickstarter seeking funding of $90,000. The device is intended to be a keyboard case that transforms the iPad into a MacBook Air stock computing device complete with keyboard. The project raised over $180,000 meeting its goal.
The device is intended to be used on the iPad 2 and the new iPad. It's made from aircraft grade aluminum and is 6 mm thick making it one of the thinnest keyboards around for the iPad. It appears that the project will fund until October even though it has reached more than twice its goal. If you want one the cases you can back the project for $135 in get one when they ship.
