First 90,000 Surface Tablets sold to Microsoft

Microsoft makes sure that the Surface tablets are not becoming a total flop and already bought 90,000 for themselves. According to Forbes , Microsoft will treat every Microsoft employee (more than 90,000) to a Surface tablet, new Windows 8 computer and a Windows Phone 8 device. Microsoft follows the good old rule of eat your own dog food and also make sure that there are some Surface tablets in the market.

We still do not know how seriously Microsoft is going to push the Surface tablets. The company has still not revealed the pricing. To take tablet marketshare they need to actually be cheaper than Apple. They do not need necessarily match the Amazon Kindle Fire HD tablet pricing, but they definitely need to stay below Apple.
