You have seen the reports that the iPhone 5 gets scratched rather easily. I have had it for a week now and do not have any scratches yet. So it is not scratching too easily. I really came to appreciate the lower weight and the thinner body. Additionally it is much less slippery than the iPhone 4S. The iPhone 4S I kept in a felt case because of that. Without the case the iPhone would slip way too easily out of my back pocket.
I was wondering how I would carry my iPhone 5 before I got it. It doesn't feel right for me in the back pocket because it does not feel safe. It is too thin to stay in there. It is not as slippery as the iPhone 4S, but it could just fall out too easily. Because it is light and thin it actually feels great to carry it in my front pocket. It does not bother me at all there.
As I do not care if I can sell the iPhone 5 again when I upgrade to one of the next iPhones the wear and tear does not bother me. I love the pure form of the iPhone 5 and do not want to hide it in a case.

The “geek mind” is concerned with more than just the latest iPhone rumors, or which company will win the gaming console wars. I4U is concerned with more than just the latest photo shoot or other celebrity gossip.
The “geek mind” is concerned with life, in all its different forms and facets. The geek mind wants to know about societal and financial issues, both abroad and at home. If a Fortune 500 decides to raise their minimum wage, or any high priority news, the geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants to know the top teams in the National Football League, or who’s likely to win the NBA Finals this coming year. The geek mind wants to know who the hottest new models are, or whether the newest blockbuster movie is worth seeing. The geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants—needs—knowledge.
