Until now we believed that the iPad mini would basically look like a small iPad. Now an analyst with Topeka raises hopes that the iPad mini will actually be a stunner with its own identity. Brian White, analyst with Topeka said according to AllThingsD: "Apple did not skimp on the aesthetics of the much anticipated ‘iPad Mini. In fact, we believe the ‘iPad Mini’ could outshine the new iPad in terms of how the device feels in a consumer’s hands."
One interpretation of this statement is that Apple is maybe considering color for the iPad mini like for the new iPod touch. No one has done colored tablets. Fashionable colors could do magic for the iPad mini sales. Designer Martin Hajek aka Martin Uitutrecht created cool renders of the iPad mini with a colored cases. See one above.
