3rd party accessories coming sooner than we thought

One of the ways Apple is limiting manufacturers who make accessories for the new iPhone 5 the only approved companies by using an authentication chip inside its Lightning cables. Reports are coming in that the Chinese company has been able to crack that authentication chip, opening the door for unauthorized iPhone 5 accessories.

The company who cracked the authentication chip is offering Lightning cable that has a glowing blue stripe and a docking station for the new iPhone 5. I can only imagine Apple will bring the legal hammer down quickly.
