Nintendo Wii Price drops to $129.99

Ahead of the Wii U launch, Nintendo announces a Wii price-cut.

The new Wii U will be released on November 18. Ahead of the new console launch, Nintendo announced today to cut the price of the Wii console to $129.99. The new Wii is beginning to arrive in stores now, and will be broadly available in the U.S. by Oct. 28. This new Wii value pack contains a black Wii console and both Wii Sports and Wii Sports Resort on a single game disc, as well as a Wii Remote Plus and a Nunchuk controller – both black to match the console. This configuration replaces the current black Wii that comes with New Super Mario Bros. Wii.

I am expecting the Wii to be offered for under $100 during Black Friday and Holiday shopping season. I could even see a $89.99 price or $50 gift card bundles. Shop for the Wii console on Amazon.
