A leaked inventory screen of a German retailer is revealing the iPad mini configurations and prices.

One of the big questions about the iPad mini is the price. A leaked screen of an inventory system of German retailer Media Markt is making its round in the German media. The leaked screen appeared on Flo's Weblog and shows that the iPad mini starts at 249 Euro, which would translate to $249 for the United States. The entry-level iPad mini would only have 8GB of RAM. According to the leaked inventory list Apple is offering the iPad mini also as 4G LTE model. Storage configurations go up to 64GB. The available colors are black and white.

The $249 price point would definitely work and put the iPad mini between the iPad 2 and the iPod touch. The price is though higher than what Amazon charges for the Kindle Fire HD. The 7-inch Kindle Fire HD sells for $199 and comes with 16GB storage.

Of course these inventory screens are easy to fake. We likely have to wait until October 23, when Apple is expected to reveal the iPad mini.
