Apple iPad gets Updated with Lightning and Global LTE next Week
Apple is set to have a major event next week on October 23. Besides the iPad mini, Apple is rumored to unveil a bunch of new hardware including new iMacs, new Mac minis, new 13-inch MacBook Pro with Retina Display and also new updated iPads. The iPad 3 just came out 6 month ago, but Apple wants to get everybody on the new lightning connector as soon as possible. Additionally international customers will get the same LTE compatibility as the iPhone 5 offers in the new iPad 3.1 according to a report on 9to5Mac.
