U.S. Stock Markets will Open Today Again

Hurricane Sandy caused the close down of the New York Stock markets on Monday and Tuesday. Today the trading will be open again.

Hurricane Sandy brought historic damage to New York and it will take months to clean up the mess. New Yorkers will try as much as possible to get back to normal business today. The Wall street will open again. The New York Stock Exchange and the NASDAQ will start trading at the usual times today.

It will be a hard for many who work on Wall street to reach their offices today. There is a backup plan in place to switch to electronic trading in case things fail. There are still parts of Manhattan without power as you can see in the photo from last night above. Get the latest about Hurricane Sandy.
