Flying toy has its own ball of protection
We see the number of remote-controlled toys over the years that are controlled using an app that runs on the iPhone. Most of those have been normal flying helicopters or remote-controlled cars. The problem always had with iPhone-controlled helicopters was I ended up crashing them in the walls or other things and breaking them.

A new iPhone controlled flying toy has turned up called the iUFO. This is a remote-controlled UFO that use the iPhone is the controller. It's not so much a UFO as you might think about as far as aliens. Rather this looks more like one of the standard remote control helicopters encased in a plastic ball-like cage.

The big deal here is that the cage is larger in diameter than the span of the rotors. That means you can crash this into your walls or other objects without damaging the fragile rotors, or your wall. The toy is available right now for $59.95 and the remote control app is free of charge. The toy does ship with an adapter that you can plug into the headphone jack to send signals to the flying toy.
