Digital reading fans in Canada, the United Kingdom, and France now have a new option to choose from with the Kobo Arc launching within those countries. The tablet starts at a price of $199 for the 16 GB version and has a seven-inch screen. The Arc uses a 1.5 GHz dual-core processor and promises 10 hours of use per charge.
The tablet weighs 364 g making it one of the lightest seven-inch tablet is available. It also features a front facing 1.3-megapixel camera, front mounted stereo speakers, and an integrated microphone. The tablet also has integrated Wi-Fi and runs Android 4.0.
Kobo is also working on an upgrade to Android 4.1 for the tablet. A 32 GB version of the tablet is available for $249.99 with a 64 GB version available for $299.95.
