jOBS Film Starring Ashton Kutcher to Debut January 27, 2013

The independent film jOBS based on the early life of Steve Jobs starring Ashton Kutcher has been delayed slightly. Originally, when we heard about the film it was going to launch in Q4 2012. The movie has now been pushed to an early Q1 2013 launch to coincide with the final day of the Sundance Film Festival.

The movie will be screened for the first time in January 27, 2013, which is the closing night of the Sundance Festival. It remains unclear if or when the movie will be released widely in the theaters. Some early indications were that the movie might go straight to TV.

The movie stars Ashton Kutcher playing Steve Jobs and the film follows 30 years of Jobs' life from 1971 to 2000. Each time I see a photograph of Kutcher in costume for the movie it's eerie how much he looks like a young Steve Jobs.
