See this Camera Phone in BIG!
Casio released (translation) today a 2 Mega Pixel Camera Phone. Could be the world's first 2 MP camera phone. I did not see any other yet.
Yes let it sink in, the japanese camera phones already enter the 2 Mega Pixel level where the US for the most is still under 1 Mega Pixel. At 2 Mega Pixel you have got a resonable Digital Camera and you do not need to carry another device.
The Casio A503CA features a 2.2 inch QVGA Color Display and features a 16MB SD Memory Card to store the photos. The 2MP CCD can take UXGA (1600x1200) photos. The camera has auto focus and scene selection (character, night, close-up, etc.). The docking station connects via USB to a PC.
Size: 51(width)x102(height)x26mm
Weight: 120g
Japanese provider KDDI will carry the Casio A503CA phones. The press-release (translation) states that delivery to KDDI has begun.
