New mystery Acer Internet Devices come End of May

The Apple iPad already influenced the market for internet Tablets. This week HP killed the Slate to most likely reinvent it as Palm Tablet in the near future and Microsoft killed (put to sleep) its innovative Courier. Others like Dell are readying smaller tablets to grab market share.

Acer is also planning to introduce a new series of Internet devices. According to Digitimes Acer is unveiling the new devices at the end of May.

Acer's Chairman JT Wang expects the new Acer Internet devices to boost gross margins in the 3rd and 4th quarter.
