Samsung brings back the CRT (braun tube) to battle LCDs and Plasma TVs. Samsung managed to develop a CRT Tube that over 2 times thinner than a traditional CRT Tube. The new CRT display, dubbed Vixlim for 32" digital TVs, is for instance only 35 cm thick. The Vixlim has better image quality and can compete at the price with comparable LCD or Plasma solutions. First Vixlim models should hit stores 2005.
