German GooRoo announces a small ruggedized, portable tablet computer.
The GooRoo RugBoard features a 10.4" SVGA TFT Touch Screen. It is powered by a NS Geode SC3200 266MHz processor with up to 256MB RAM. It has Wireless LAN integrated (802.11b). It measures 220x290x41mm and weighs 1.4kg.
The Rugboard can run Linux, Windows XP embedded or Windows CE.
The Sony VGN-U50 Windows XP PDA is smaller with 167×108x26.4mm. Of course the Screen is only half as big with 5".
