At the Hotchips conference at the Stanford University Sony is scheduled today for the first time to show the PSP Chip-set.
The Sony PSP is the most powerful hand-held gaming consoles to hit the stores. (PSP to be released in japan release this christmas).
For chip geeks the Sony PSP CPU that consists of a MIPS core and embedded DRAM storage is quite an achievement.
Sony's Masanobu Okabe is scheduled to present about a 90nm embedded DRAM single chip LSI with a 3D graphics, H.264 codec engine, and a reconfigurable processor at the Hotchips conference.
