Sony announces a new line of Hard-drive DVD Recorders RDR-HX50, RDR-HX70, RDR-HX90. RDR-HX100 and RDR-VH80.
The high-end Sony RDR-HX100 features a 400GB hard-drive. The new DVD Recorders feature HQ+ mode recording mode and of course built-in EPG.
The new Sony RDR-VH80 has also a Video Tape deck. This allows for direct recording of Vidoe Tapes onto DVDs.
The new Sony DVD Recorders will be shipping in November and December. More details in Sony Press-Release (japanese).
