Wrist Dreams reports about Casio introducing a G-Shock wirstwatch with speed pass payment system.
Casio announced in june a Credit-card wristwatch called the Offica. Casio collaborates with JCB on the electronic non-contact payment system.
The new G-Shock with speed pass works on 283 Exxon Mobile Gas stations in Japan. The idea is to directly pay with the G-Shock at the fuel pump. The Speed Pass system comes with an insurance, that protects customers when the watch gets stolen. The G-Shock GWS-900 is of course water proof and solar powered. It features world time and memo functions.
