Verizon iPhone Announcement rumored for CES 2011

Earlier we featured a report that predicts the Verizon iPhone launch for Januar 2011. Taiwanese Digitimes reports today that they expect Verizon to announce the CDMA iPhone at the CES 2011 in early January.
Digitimes confirms that CDMA is going into mass production in December.

Another tidbit in the rumor report is about the Verizon iPhone back plate. It is supposed to be made from metal. A new iPhone antenna design?
