The Siemens Mobile division is in trouble. Reports over the last week suggest that Siemens might either sell, close or look for a partner similar to the Sony Ericsson model.
Telecoms Korea reports that possibly LG Electronics is interested in buying the Siemens mobile business. Other reports talk about NEC and Chinese Ningbo Bird as possible buyers.
Siemens is making apparently a decision on January 27th. Siemens lost 141 Mio. Euros last year.
