Japanese Newspaper Nihon Keizai Shimbun reports that Warner Bros. Inc., Paramount Pictures Corp. and Universal Studios will most likely start selling HD DVD movie titles in Japan and the U.S. in October 2005 for 2,000 yen to 3,000 yen (~$20-30).
This would make HD DVDs not much more expensive than standard DVDs. HD DVD Players are not here yet, but maybe there will be some choice then by October.
