Archos launches the AV4100 with a huge 100GB hard-drive. Archos is the only company with a 100 GB Hard-drive PVP and recorder, the only to enable video recording and scheduling directly from any standard video source.
The AV4100 has the same feature-set as the 80GB AV480. Measuring 4.9" x 3.1" x 1" and weighing 11.29oz, the AV4100 is still very compact. Screen-size is also 3.8 inch like on the AV480.
The Archos AV4100 model will be in stores worldwide by the end of February with a suggested U.S. retail price of $799.95. Archos lowered the pricing on the existing AV400 models:
AV420: $499.95 (previously $549.95)
AV480: $749.95 (previously $799.95)
More details on Archos AV4100 product page.
Amazon.com also reduced the price of the new Archos PMA430 to $759.99 (was $799.99).
