As l live in good old Europe, I only just now was able to watch the Xbox 360 MTV show on TV. I could have saved that half hour of my life though. Sure I like the Killers, but their songs run all day on my favorite FM4 radio station, so I did not need to hear and see them again. I was watching
the MTV show to see more than what is already in the OurColony Xbox Sneak Peak Video or on the Xbox site. Well there was just music, lots of it. The 'hobbit' also had an easy job, he maybe said 5 lines. After the first 2 songs a model with a bag appeared and placed the Xbox 360 on a
table, 10 seconds green laser show, and that was it. Back to more music.
So what to make of this? Microsoft got the word out that there is a thing called Xbox 360 for those young MTV watching kids who do not surf the net. On the other hand they already published Xbox 360 specifications on the
Xbox sites, stealing somewhat the thunder from the press-conference on Monday. What are they going to give the journalists to write about? Will we see
actual game play? Seeing real games on the Xbox 360 is the only thing left, right?
I also do not feel the Xbox 360 yet. I really need to see live game play. From
the looks it is not convincing me (I feel in love with the Sony PSP in an
instant). The Xbox 360 specifications are very impressive, but what do the mean
for the games? And what can the Sony PS3 do? And what about the mysterious
Nintendo Revolutions? The latest
tidbit is its only
3 DVD covers high and very, very sleek... So next weeks E3 has still a ton of
excitement packed, and I4U is there for you.
