Wal-Mart stops its DVD rental service. First Gizmodo reported that some Wal-Mart DVD Rental customers got emails that they can switch to Netflix at the same price. Now the news is
official as reports show up for instance on CNN. Wal-Mart gets officially out of the online DVD Rental business. Wal-Mart started the price war, before Blockbuster even got in the game.
Now it is just Netflix and Blockbuster, Amazon might stay away now. Blockbuster is fishing for new costumers with $9.99 for the first month.
