Microsoft announces the pricing for their new Xbox 360 game console. Update: Xbox 360 pre-order started on Amazon.
Update 22/11/05:
Xbox 360 Premium bids on eBay skyrocket
There will be two editions of the Xbox 360. The Xbox 360 Premium Edition will sell for $399.99 USD (€399.99, £279.99). The Xbox 360 Premium edition will have a signature metallic detailing
and comes bundled with 20GB Xbox 360 Hard Drive, Xbox 360 Wireless Controller, Xbox 360 Faceplate, Xbox 360 Headset, Xbox 360 Component HD-AV Cable, Xbox Live Silver membership and a bonus Media Remote Control (limited time only).
The Xbox 360 Core System is going to sell for $299.99USD (€299.99, £209.99).
It comes without the Xbox 360 hard drive and only with a wired Xbox 360 controller. Both of those missing components already make the Xbox 360 core system a pretty dull choice.
Microsoft also announces a list of Xbox 360 accessories that will be available at launch.
Xbox 360 Hard Drive (20 GB) - $99.99
Xbox 360 Memory Unit (64 MB) - $39.99
Xbox 360 Wireless Controller - $49.99
Xbox 360 Play & Charge Kit - $19.99
Xbox 360 rechargeable battery pack - $11.99
Xbox 360 Wireless Networking Adapter - $99.99
