New Canon IXUS digital cameras are on the way. Canon announced the new IXUS 750, IXUS 55 and IXUS i Zoom (photo) today.

The IXUS i Zoom is also sold as the Canon PowerShot SD30. I totally hate Canon's dual naming especially because not even the numbers match. For instance the new Canon IXUS 55 is also the Canon Powershot SD450 and the new IXUS 750 is the Powershot SD550. Canon, please start thinking global.

The 5MP IXUS i Zoom features a 2.4x optical zoom, DIGIC II processing and a 1.8 inch screen.
More details as usual over at the LetsGoDigital Canon Digital IXUS i introduction. The IXUS 750 is the new flagship in the IXUS series featuring 7.1MP, 2.5 inch screen and 3x optical zoom.
More details in the LetsGoDigital Canon Digital IXUS 750 introduction.

The Canon IXUS 55 has 5MP, a 3x zoom and a 2.5 inch screen.
More details in the LetsGoDigital Canon Digital IXUS 55 introduction.

Canon also introduced the Canon Powershot S80, A610, A620 and A410, more details on those on LetsGoDigital they have them all covered.
