A report appeared from China that Taiwanese BenQ will release its P50 PDA phone under the Siemens brand in Europe next month.
The P50 is sold already in Asia. I saw it at the CES 2005. The P50 runs still Windows Mobile 2003, which is not the latest Windows Mobile OS release. Not sure if the Siemens brand will help here, as the HTC Windows Mobile 5.0 smartphones are around the corner.
More details on msmobiles.As reported Taiwanese BenQ bought the Siemens Mobile business unit. They have the right to use the Siemens brand for a couple of years.
