LaCie known for their external hard-drives enters the USB drive market with the LaCie Carte-Orange 8GB drive.

The credit-card sized Carte-Orange is only 6mm thick. It supports USB 2.0 and guess what, it is orange. The LaCie portable drive works driver free on Windows 2000/XP and Mac OS X.The 8GB LaCie Carte-Orange sells for $149.99. The 4GB version sells for $99.99.
Pre-order opened on the LaCie site. Shipping date is early October.
