Memory-Tech Corporation, NEC Corporation, SANYO Electric Co., Ltd. and Toshiba Corporation, the managing member companies of the HD DVD Promotion Group sure celebrated with lots of Sake the decision of Intel and Microsoft to join the HD DVD Promotion Group.
The move of MS and Intel could seal the domination of HD DVD in the PC world. The battle in the movie industry might still be an open one between Sony's Blu-Ray and HD DVD.
It is still a pity that we will not have one single next generation DVD format.
