The discussions about the supply situation of the Microsoft Xbox 360 at launch really start to become annoying. Is Microsoft faking a Xbox 360 shortage or is it for real? At the end it does not
really matter, but somehow it kills at least my Xbox 360 enthusiasm a bit more.
Nobody is talking anymore about what the Xbox 360 can actually do. It is all about will there be a shortage or not. I am not a hard-core gamer, but I had to have the
Sony PSP, when it came out.
Why? because the black thingy somehow turned me on. I got it from Japan, when prices got
reasonable (I can control myself - somewhat). With the Xbox 360 I really still need somebody to
convince me that it really would make me happy. This very funny and startling comparison of the Sega Dreamcast and the Xbox 360 on 1Up does not help
improve my Xbox 360 love.
The most compelling reason to buy the Xbox 360 seems to be the fact that it is the only next generation game console in town this holiday season.
I still do not know if there will be actually non-bundled Xbox 360 Core and Premium systems available in the United States at launch day November 22nd). All current offers are Xbox 360 Bundles, which makes the Xbox 360 a
substantial investment. So are you going to get a Microsoft Xbox 360 at launch
day?
