Information and renderings of upcoming Danger Sidekick handsets have emerged.
Engadget features renderings of a new Sidekick and a Motorola made Sidekick Slide. Gizmodo supplies some unconfirmed specifications for the Sidekick Slide, which is also called Motorola Q700 and could be the rumored Zante.The Q700 would launch in September and feature a 2.4 inch color QVGA screen and measurements of 118mm x 62mm x 17.5mm.
The spilled information is not painting a too exciting image of the next generation Sidekicks, unless I miss something.
The Sidekick (Hiptop) was very innovative texting focused phone when it got released on T-Mobile back in 2002.
Today we talk touch screen phones like the Apple iPhone or HTC Touch. Sure these devices still need to prove themselves, but they are the cutting edge trend handsets early adopters and celebrities will choose.
Samsung answered rumors that it might split off its LCD division. Representative James Chung wouldn't confirm or deny the talk to Reuters, saying only that the company was "internally reviewing various options." Nothing had been locked in, he explained. ...
