The CES 2006, the largest Consumer Electronics Show, is approaching fast. CEA announced yesterday several news about the upcoming show.
First off, Google Co-Founder Larry Page is going to hold a Keynote. He is joining regular Bill Gates. Other keynote speeches will be held by Terry Semel, chairman and CEO of Yahoo! Inc. and Sir Howard Stringer, chairman and CEO of Sony Corp.
The CES also announced the Innovations 2006 Design and Engineering Awards Honorees. Noteworthy winning products are the Belkin's Tunestage, VEX Robotics sold by Radioshack, iRobot Scooba and the Firefly Kids mobile phone.
A bit of a mystery is the Samsung YM-P1, which won in the portable audio player category. As far as I know the YM-P1/YM-PD1 is a PMP with DMB receiver.I4U News will be reporting live from the CES 2006. I have been there personally last year and covered the CES 2005.
