What 2005 was for podcasts, 2006 is supposed to be for vlogs (aka video blogs, videocasts, etc.). Serious Magic introduced a software called Vlog It that lets anybody create video reports or video
blogs in minutes without any technical knowledge.
Photos, video clips or music can be drag and dropped into Vlog It. To add voice over Vlog It features an on-screen teleprompter. Right, Vlog It has a actual teleprompter function like Jay Leno is using too.
Together with WebCam Vlog It makes it easy to create Newscasts, like you see on CNN. Especially when using a green screen, you can have yourself report from anywhere by just selecting any background image. Serious Magic sells the V-Screen backdrop for $19.95 as accessory.
Nikki Cash created with the help of the friendly Serious Magic staff a Vlog It test video report at the Serious Magic CES Booth. You can watch the video here.
See also this video demonstrating the Vlog It software.
Vlog It is available as free trial right now. The final version will sell for a low $49.95 on the Serious Magic site.
