Casio announces in Japan the W41CA mobile phone featuring a 2.6 inch wide screen display.
The Casio W41CA features a 2.6 inch display with a 240x400px resolution. Most current phone feature a QVGA resolution (240x320px). The additional width is ideal to watch movies.
Other features of the Casio W41CA include a 2.1MP digital camera, FeliCa electronic payment support, support of au's Listen mobile music service, USB port, miniSD card slot, FM Tuner, stereo speaker and 70MB internal memory.
The Casio W41CA mobile phone measures 49x103x22mm and weighs 126g. This is still very compact for this large screen. The new Casio mobile phone will be available in Japan in nordic white, fiesta orange and fjord black.
