Sweden Plans Oil Independence

Sweden plans to be Oil Independent by 2020.

Sweden wants to switch to renewable energy sources without building new nuclear power plants. An interdisciplinary committee is supposed to have a first report in a couple of month on how the 9 million Swedes get off oil within 15 years. Based on 2003 numbers, 26% of Sweden's energy consume already comes from renewable sources.
