Bandai sees a market for artificial pocket cat paws in Japan.
The Bandai 'Nekonyanbou' have a little lever on the bottom to bend the paw and reveal the claws - genius! The usage examples for cat paw I cannot comprehend, but I am not Japanese so it's ok.
Considering that some western cultures believe carrying a Rabbit's Paw in your pocket brings luck the Bandai cat paw is not so strange anymore.
