Blackberry goes 3G the first time. Apparently Vodafone in the UK will introduce the 3G enabled 8707v Blackberry handset.
The Quadband 8707v is running on a 312Mhz Intel PXA901 CPU. The screen has QVGA resolution.
The design is mostly based on the Blackberry 8700. The launch is supposed to happen soon. No details on pricing are available at this point. Having 3G connectivity would definitely enhance the productivity of a Blackberry.
The information about the UMTS Blackberry has appeared on a UK dealer site. First seen on The Register.
