The highly anticipated Apple flagship store in New York will open tomorrow.
The store design reminds strongly on the glass pyramid of the Louvre in Paris. The store itself is under ground. It will be open 24 hours every day of the year.
This evening is a press event marking the opening of the newest Apple store.
The WSJ (Subscription) mentions in a report that the revenue from the Apple stores was $2.35 billion in fiscal 2005 or 17% of Apple's total sales. The stores are a huge success for Apple.
