CES 2011 To Feature Largest Apple-Related Product Display Ever
Topic: CES 2010
A new Apple product line means a new line of peripherals from manufacturers like iSkin and Mophie. Every year the CES show includes the iLounge Pavilion, where various companies go to show off their Apple product-related peripherals. In 2010, the Pavilion was 25,000 square feet in size and filled with more than 100 companies. And next year is set to be even bigger. iLounge has reserved twice as much space for 2011.
Skosche, Incipio, Vestalife and many others will all be in attendance next year, with their iPad accessories in tow. Right now, there are fairly few cool peripherals for the iPad. That state of affairs will not last long. I predict that keyboard/speaker combo iPad docks are going to be very big at CES 2011. There are quite a few elaborate docks for the iPhone and iPod touch, and the iPad opens up so many more potential avenues.

Topic: CES 2010
Zotac was at CES 2010 with a new line of devices geared towards multimedia awesomeness. Netbooked reports that the line-up included new net-tops, a netbook, and an Internet tablet. The MAG net-tops are very clearly media machines. One of them uses the Pinetrail-D platform and sports GeForce GT218 graphics, which makes it capable of 1080p playback.
Two of Zotac's MAG net-tops are CULV based. One of them will have a dual-core Pentium SU4100 processor while the other will have GMA 4500MHD graphics. Another will use a dual-core AMD Athlon Neo X2 L325 processor with an ATI Radeon HD 3200 GPU. These net-tops will hit in March for around $300. Sounds perfect for a media box.

Cannondale Simon Electronic Suspension Reads Trail
Topic: CES 2010
Bike maker Cannondale exhibited a the Simon electronic front suspension system for Mountain Bikes at the CES 2010.
Demonstrated as a concept the programmable Simon suspension system uses an ADI single-axis iMEMS accelerometer to monitor the terrain at 2-millisecond intervals.
This data is processed by the Simon system to access more than 10,000 terrain-response maps to provide optimal bicycle suspension control. Unlike previous mountain bike front suspension technologies, which relied on mechanical devices with slower response times, the Simon front suspension system incorporates ADI’s accelerometers for real-time response, which allows riders to instantly adapt to changing trail conditions.

Samsung's C9000 3D HDTV: A Work of Art
Topic: CES 2010
The television is the centrepiece of the living room. When I was a kid every TV on the market was huge and constructed with all the artistic finesse of of a giant plastic brick. Now the televisions are thin and lightweight but, for the most part, completely uninspired. Samsung's upcoming C9000 HDTV, shown for the first time at CES 2010, is a notable exception to this rule.
That photo up top isn't misleading; the C9000 really is that slim. This HDTV has 3D support and a severe weight problem worthy of a "very special" episode of 90210. Due to the screen's relentless thin-ness, this machine's guts are all contained in the base, along with all of its various USB and HDMI slots. Gizmodo reports that the remote also doubles as a mini-smartphone, capable of viewing streaming media from other sources on its own.

It's rare for a product that doesn't come from Apple to be both breathtakingly beautiful and hysterically overpriced. Apparently Fujitsu has been learning from the masters of the craft. This was something we'd very much been looking forward to...until we saw the price Fujitsu expected people to pay for it; $999.
