BioShock 2 Now Available Globally
Topic: Gaming
One of my all time favorite games on the PC was BioShock. The game had a totally original premise and fantastic game play. 2K Games announced today that BioShock 2 is now shipping globally. The game even had its own commercial during the Super Bowl.
BioShock 2's single player game serves as a sequel to the original game and offers the next enhancement to the genetically enhanced shooter that was the original game. The game sees kidnappings taking place to repopulate Rapture's supply of Little Sisters. Read more

Project Natal Spotted On GorillaPod
Topic: Gaming
Since our first glimpses of it last Summer, Project Natal has been constantly evolving in form. We've seen everything from a massive sound-bar looking system to a cobbled-together array of sensors and wires. Now SlashGear has a photo of Project Natal's latest incarnation and, I have to say, it's looking good. Right now things are very minimalist; a laser and a couple of lenses integrated into a thin black bar and stuck on top of a gorillapod.
This is obviously NOT what Natal will look like at launch, but it gives us an idea of just how tiny and versatile this sensor could end up being. You could stick a sensor that size up under your television or on the wall above it, or even attach it to the front of your home entertainment system.

The Killer App: iPad Board Games
Topic: Gaming
There are two problems with board games. The first is that they take up way too damn much space, and the second is that they are a pain to clean up. Now, thanks to the iPad, the board game can finally reach perfection. Recombu.com speculates that the perfect board game apps could be created for a tablet environment.
And they're right. Imagine buying an iPad or an Android or Windows tablet and loading it up with digital copies of all your favorite board games. You wouldn't have to carry boxes everywhere or spend three hours setting up the board for Axis and Allies. Board gaming on car trips will now be possible (without creating an enormous mess). Tablets have the potential to create a better board gaming experience than any physical medium.

Topic: Gaming
I was having a discussion the other day with my five-year-old daughter about which of us was going to take here stuffed animals upstairs. She wanted me to do it and I was refusing when out of the blue she said we would settle the thing with rock, paper, scissors.
I didn’t know she even knew about rock, paper, scissors. Luckily for me she didn’t invoke the age-old two out of three rule when my paper covered her rock. If you feel like playing some rock, paper, scissors but don’t have a tot around to play against, Wearable Magazine T-Post has unveiled a new augmented reality shirt that will play the game with you.
