If your area is anything like mine you rarely see a person walking, running or doing any other form of exercise without the ubiquitous iPod or MP3 player attached to their body. This gives them something to listen to while exercising, but also makes them oblivious to anything else in their vicinity like those annoying cars and other people trying to occupy the same space.
Yamaha has a new device that you wear during workouts which slaves the tempo of your music to your heart rate. The device figures out which of your songs are most appropriate for your current heart rate and plays the ideal tune.
I guess the idea is to keep a slow song from coming on while you are being inspired to work out hard. Then the obvious answer to this problem would be to make play lists for your workouts that only have fast songs. Via Crave
