EICTA finally came up with a logo that identifies TVs with full HD resolution (1920x1080pixels). We all know the HD ready logo. The new one will be "HD ready 1080p" according to Heise (German).
The logo requires that the TV can take 1080p signals over its digital input. The logo does not regulate the 24p mode.
I could not yet find the new logo graphics on the EICTA site.
