Shure is a well known maker of many high-end audiophile earphones. Typically Shure products are associated with very high prices, but to lure in the audiophile with a smaller budget, Shure has released a new set of earphones with a great price.
The new Shure SE110 Sound Isolating Earphones will sell for $99 and use similar technology to Shure’s other sound isolating earphones. Shure says that 55% of buyers of iPod’s they surveyed chose to upgrade their earphones, and they are aiming to get a bigger share of that market.
The SE110 earphones utilize a balanced MicroSpeaker design for a vivid listening experience. The sound isolating sleeves block out 90% of ambient noise. A fit kit and accessories are included with two pairs of disposable black sleeves, three pairs of soft flex sleeves, carry case, and a nozzle cleaning tool. Optional accessories include airline adapter, push-to-hear accessory and music phone adapter.
