Panasonic announces the DMP-BD30 Blu-ray player that supports the final Blu-ray standard profile (Blu-ray Profile 1.1).

The Panasonic DMP-BD30 features Deep Color Compatibility, HDMI 1.3B, 1080/24p playback, P4HD (Pixel Precision Progressive Processing), 148.5MHz/12bit video D/A converter, 192kHz/24bit audio D/A converter, SD Memory Card slot for playback of High Definition content recorded in the AVCHD format and EZ-Sync. The final Blu-ray standard highlights are Picture-in-Picture and Audio Mixing (allows the consumer to switch the sound between the main and sub windows).
The suggested retail price of the Panasonic DMP-BD30 is $499.95. Panasonic did not specify the launch date yet.
