As reported earlier today Vodafone obtained a court order in Germany against the locked iPhone sales by T-Mobile.
Update:
T-Mobile sells iPhone without contract for 999 Euro in Germany now.
T-Mobile issued a press-release responding to the court order. T-Mobile says that the sale of the iPhone continues as before and that they will file objection against the court order. Additionally they are thinking about claiming Vodafone for damages.
T-Mobile also brings arguments on why a locked strategy is good for iPhone users. T-Mobile highlights that iPhone users save money because of the EDGE and Hotspot data flat rate. There are so many arguments against locked iPhone sales, that I do not want to get into it. Happy hacking...
