For many computer users 4GB of RAM seems like a lot of RAM. You can’t really even see the benefit of 4GB of Ram unless you are using a 64-bit operating system. OCZ says 4GB isn’t enough and have rolled out a new 8GB RAM kit.
The RAM in the kit is four sticks of 2GB PC2-6400 RAM that runs at 5-4-4 timings. Those latencies are tighter than typical 2GB modules for added performance.
OCZ says the RAM is aimed at enthusiasts and overclockers so it should have more headroom for increasing the frequencies and making the timings tighter. Pricing is unknown at this time.
