UK's Goldstriker just sent us photos and information on what should be the first 3rd generation Apple iPod nano plated with Platinum.

Goldstriker has received many requests from customers for platinum gadgets. Now they have finally made the step and used the most precious metal.
Platinum just has more style than gold. Platinum looks really good on the iPod nano.
Goldstriker will release the Platinum iPod nano 8GB in January 2008 for £399.95 (~$822).

We have already reported about other Goldstriker products like the 24ct gold iPhone and iPods and Gold B&O BeoCom 4.
